NPR Clinic

qualifications

Practitioners (Maximum of 4 Practitioners per Project)

  • Program is designed for qualified TCM practitioners with active licenses who wish to engage in charity work and at the same time obtain relevant clinical training and experience and meet their PDA/CEU requirements. 

  • Qualifying practitioners must be in good standing with their accreditation boards with valid license to practice

  • 20 PDA/CEU credits and up to 10 Activity credits can be earned. (Depending on accreditation organization)

  • Must submit copies of License, Certification, CV and Photo

Graduating TCM Students (Maximum of 4 Students per  project)

  • Program is also available for TCM Graduating students who wish to engage in a unique externship opportunity to meet their clinical practice requirements in Acupuncture and TCM modalities in an integrative clinical setting

  • 20 PDA/CEU credits and 10 Activity credits can be earned plus up to 160 hours of clinic residency (depending on Institution)

  • Qualifying students must have at least 40 hours of clinic practice and have a certificate in Clean Needle Technique (CNT)

  • Must submit Graduation Date, CV (or letter of motivation), Certified copy of Clinic internship hours, Copy of CNT Certificate

All Participants must carry Covid Vaccination certificates or provide a valid Negative PCR test prior to arrival to Kathmandu.

All participants must obtain a valid 30 day Tourist Visa to Nepal. (Apply online here)

All participants must have valid travel health insurance  for the duration of their stay

Practitioner participants must have a valid malpractice Insurance coverage. 

program fees

Program Fee - $ Ask us for Fees from one to four group rates

Program Fee Covers

  • All Transits to and from Kathmandu and Charikot.

  • All Weekend Excursions (To Be Determined. See sample Itinerary for examples)

  • Two nights stay upon arrival and one night stay upon return at Kathmandu Hotel

  • All hotel stay at Remote Clinic (standard one person room) at beautiful Panorama Resort

  • Three meals per day for the duration of the stay

  • All local clinic supplies (Needles, Disposables, Moxa, Oils, Topicals, Therapeutic devices, ESTIM, Gua Sha etc.) 

  • Personal NPR Clinic coat (as a gift)

 

Not Covered by Program Fee:

  • Travel to and from Kathmandu Nepal From your origin

  • Personal Excursions

  • Extra guests (Spouse, Partner)

  • Meals outside of our plan.

  • Extension to stay before or after program dates

  • Personal Choice (brand of needles, special tools -  ESTIM, Medical toolkit - Stethoscope, Tuning fork, Hammer etc)
